The archives of the Institute of Modern History, Academia Sinica are divided into four collections: diplomatic, economic, maps, and public records. The database contains both catalogue search and digital image viewing functions. Both basic and advanced search options are available, and split windows are used to show the archives hierarchy and item descriptions.

Scanned digital images can be viewed online after submitting an application; requests to read documents that do not have digital versions may be made online and the documents then read in the archives reading room. The database catalogue will be updated as the files are indexed.
