Introduction | Fukutaro Masuda (1903-0982) came to Taiwan in1929 for field researches on Taiwanese religions, and became a professor at Taihoku Imperial University (the predecessor of National Taiwan University).
The database mainly consists of artifacts he collected from temples and altars all over Taiwan, including joss money, drawings of deities, and many others, which provides first-hand research materials for understanding Taiwanese religions. |
