Introduction | The Chiang Ching-kuo Digital Archive is a digital library of modern international history. Aimed to build a new understanding of Chiang Ching-kuo (1910-1988) with a series of innovative Web-based tools, it curates more than 50,000 original documents and 10-million-word archival texts from Academia Historica (Guoshiguan) and archives inside and outside Taiwan, ranging from Chiang’s personal correspondence, diary entries, notes, works, chronology, to government documents and peer-reviewed research papers. This is more than a collection of primary source material; it is a unique online resource offering insights into a captivating period of modern China and Taiwan.
